Regional Vice President - Sales (West Coast)

 If you’re interested in combining your passion for sports with a successful track record in sponsorship sales, we want to speak with you! The primary responsibility of this position is to secure commercial revenue on behalf of Blueprint Sports’ portfolio of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) partners across the country. The successful candidate will be an experienced, polished sales executive who is expected to consistently source, pitch, negotiate and close six and seven-figure partnerships across multiple client accounts, developing meaningful relationships with executive-level corporate decision makers that result in long-term revenue streams for our clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary business development leader in creating new business client revenue for Blueprint Sports clients located in the western half of the United States.
  • Establish pipelines, sales goals, sales collateral, and more to help the local team be successful. 
  • Conduct full sales cycle activities including industry research, prospecting, pitching, proposal development & contract negotiations.
  • Prospect and develop new business pipeline for Blueprint Sports current and future clients.
  • Lead the sales process to engage with potential partners at a senior level and meet sales targets.
  • Participate in negotiations and meetings with key sponsors in and around the properties locally or nationally.
  • Help structure and manage collaboration across properties and Blueprint Sports Leadership.
  • Participate in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the organization’s reputation and potential for success.  

Qualifications, Skills, and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university
  • 7+ years of experience in a sponsorship sales role in the sports/entertainment industry
  • Previous experience in college athletes preferred
  • Experience negotiating deals and managing strategic partnerships
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to develop creative solutions which will meet the objectives of prospective partners
  • High energy level couple with a strong drive for results
  • Able to create and execute strategic plans to meet both short and long-term business objectives
  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and honesty
  • Effective communication, organizational, presentation, and listening skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite(s)
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically where needed
